Discover the ultimate Ayrton Senna exhibition and more at GRIDX’s Galleria610

GRIDX is Luxembourg’s brand new must-visit multi-experience destination for lovers of all things automotive. Kick-starting the new Galleria610 is an unparalleled exhibition dedicated to legendary Formula 1 driver Ayrton Senna.

Luxembourg is mostly renowned for its finance industry and European institutions, but the tiny country, nestled in the very heart of Europe is, as of 2025, home to one of the biggest multi-use development centres in the region. GRIDX, Europe’s first ever multi-experience destination, combines retail, events, food, hotel and entertainment, all under one roof and spanning more than 42,000sqm. In this context, mobility plays an important role at GRIDX, with dealers and workshops present directly on site. Together with the premium retail stores, the concept creates a vibrant mix of various activities.

Since this week, GRIDX has gained another attraction with the opening of Galleria610. The creators describe Galleria610, or G610 for short, as a space where cars become art. The museum (although G610 prefers to avoid using this term) spans over more than 2,100sqm and will feature thematic exhibitions that will change every six months on average. In partnership with the prestigious Museo Nazionale dell’Automobile – MAUTO from Turin, Italy, will bring some of the most important historic motorcars to Luxembourg.

Launching the space in perfect style is the exhibition dedicated to the legendary Formula 1 driver Ayrton Senna. However, calling it merely an exhibition is an understatement: this is the most comprehensive collection ever assembled dedicated exclusively to the ‘King of the Rain’, featuring original cars, helmets, overalls and many more fascinating memorabilia retracing the triple F1 World Champion’s career. All items and cars have been sourced via the MAUTO from private collections. Rarely seen in public, and for the first time visible together, the Ayrton Senna exhibition is an absolute must for any motorsport fanatic – and beyond.

In addition to the 750sqm dedicated to the MAUTO partnership, G610 has installed a space that the founders describe as a car gallery. While the room dedicated to the Ayrton Senna collection can be considered a more classical museum, the other part of the space has a much more modern feel, with a broad selection of classics, racing cars and hypercars presented in a minimalistic style with perfect lighting, effectively showing off these masterpieces as the works of art they are to many.

The eagle-eyed observer will recognise these installations; they were first used in the Grand Basel during late 2018, fascinating the crowds with their new take on the car show. Stored since then, a dozen of these so-called frames have now found their way to Luxembourg’s GRIDX. Every frame will show a specific theme centred around a brand, design or cult status. The cars are being sourced from other museums, from private collections, and also from dealers, and can thus be offered for sale under the radar – a new, modern way to advertise.

During our visit, a highlight that stood out was the selection of iconic Renault Alpine models, including the Alpine AGTZ concept, which we have featured before, and the matching A220 LeMans car, brought over all the way from Poland by Jakub Pietrzak’s LaSquadra. Can you imagine a better way to demonstrate a car to a potential client in such an intimate setting? In case of interest feel free to get in touch – G610 is calling for consignments. Contacts to established Hypercar brands have already been established, so stay tuned for more exciting news.

What better way to round off your visit to Galleria610 than by purchasing a souvenir in their dedicated store? You’ll find a fine selection of car models, posters and books – if you are hunting for the perfect Christmas gift, look no further, Galleria610 has got your back. We particularly  loved the selection of coffee table books from Ted Gushue’s ERG Media as well as the sculptures of France-based Atelier Circourt. As if this was not enough, visitors will find a selection of art pieces by the renowned French Artist Antoine Dufilho, including a 1:1 sized sculpture of Senna’s legendary MP4/4 McLaren F1 racer.

Galleria610 is open from Wednesday to Sunday from 10AM to 6PM, and is also available for private events in the evening. Children up to the age of 8 enter for free, while a full ticket costs 18 euros.
