This is the earliest known Porsche 924 in US specification. It has a 1977 preserves chassis number and, because it was produced in April 1976 it also is the only Porsche 924 in Atlantic Metallic (as the color was discontinued by Porsche for model year 77). The car was intended for market launch in the US but given the color issue never shipped to the US. It was then sold to the Webasto key account manager for Porsche and never left Germany.
