The commitment of the ex-Microsoft mastermind paid off, as the international jury of the Chantilly Arts & Elegance awarded the coveted ‘Best of Show’ award to his elegant Alfa Romeo 8C 2900 Lungo Berlinetta, with bodywork by Touring. “I am very pleased to win this this important award,” Shirley told us following the awards ceremony, “particularly in this beautiful setting.” Suffice to say, the opulent Alfa proved a favourite throughout the third edition of the French concours.
