Nach einer längeren Durststrecke entschloss sich Porsche Anfang der 1990er-Jahre zu einem kompromisslosen Befreiungsschlag. Mit der Einführung des Porsche 964 Carrera RS sowie dem begleitenden Carrera Cup und Supercup legte der Hersteller den Grundstein für die bis heute erfolgreichsten Markenpokale der Automobilgeschichte.
Seither gelten die RS-Modelle als die puristischsten und begehrtesten Vertreter jeder 911-Baureihe – echte Fahrerautos im besten Sinne.
Der 911 Carrera RS wurde im Herbst 1991 vorgestellt und konsequent auf Leichtbau und Fahrdynamik ausgelegt:

Heck- und Seitenscheiben aus Dünnglas
Fronthaube aus Aluminium
Keine Servolenkung
Einmassenschwungrad statt Zweimassenschwungrad
40 mm tiefergelegtes, sehr straff abgestimmtes Fahrwerk
Motor mit modifiziertem Steuergerät
Länger übersetzte erste und zweite Getriebestufe

Bei unserem Neuzugang handelt es sich um einen außergewöhnlich ehrlichen Porsche 964 Carrera RS mit lückenlos nachvollziehbarer Historie. Das Fahrzeug präsentiert sich bis auf wenige, behutsame Änderungen in absolut originalem Zustand.
Die Karosserie wurde im Rahmen einer sorgfältigen Überarbeitung auf rostfreier und unfallfreier Basis partiell neu lackiert.
Der Kilometerstand ist original, sämtliche Anbauteile sind authentisch.

After a period of restraint, Porsche decided in the early 1990s to make a bold and uncompromising statement. With the introduction of the Porsche 964 Carrera RS, accompanied by the Carrera Cup and Supercup, Porsche laid the foundation for what would become the most successful one-make racing series in the automotive world.
To this day, RS models are regarded as the most focused and desirable derivatives of each 911 generation—true driver’s cars in the purest sense.
The 911 Carrera RS was launched in autumn 1991 and engineered with an uncompromising focus on lightweight construction and driving dynamics:
Elimination of underbody protection and most sound-deadening materials
Lightweight glass for rear and side windows
Aluminum front hood
No power steering
Single-mass flywheel instead of a dual-mass unit
Firmly tuned suspension, lowered by 40 mm
Engine with revised engine management
Longer gear ratios in first and second gear

Vehicle Description
Our latest acquisition is an exceptionally honest Porsche 964 Carrera RS with a fully traceable and documented history. Apart from a few minor, sympathetic modifications, the car remains largely original.
The bodywork was partially refinished as part of a careful restoration process, carried out on a rust-free and accident-free basis.
The mileage is genuine, and all exterior and interior components are original.
