As the plate from the importer dIeteren confirms, this Combi T23/D was sold new in Belgium. It is the version with side windows and has the raised roof, making it very convenient to fit out as a camper. Its current owner found it in Lebanon and then carried out a major restoration in 2022: this included completely repainting the body an elegant sky blue with a white roof. The upholstery was redone at the same time, and the entire rear compartment was fitted out as a camper, with a bench seat which could be converted into a double bed, a sink with a tap, and a gas hob ... All the fittings are made of wood and give the living area a very warm appearance. In 2023, the mechanical part has been overhauled as can be seen from a bill of 4 800 in the history file. The brakes were also overhauled. Although a few minor cosmetic details could still be improved, this Combi, sold new in Europe, would make a smart choice with its raised roof and generous glass area to set out on the road and enjoy to the full the freedom and adventure of a travelling life.
