The Porsche 964 America Roadster is one of the most remarkable variants of the 964 generation, produced in a limited run of only 250 units in 1992 and 1993. It was developed as a tribute to the legendary 356 America Roadster of the 1950s, a lightweight and sporty cabriolet built especially for the US market. With the 964, Porsche revived this tradition by presenting an exclusive open version that combined the best of both worlds: the performance of the 911 Turbo and the pure driving experience of a convertible.

The America Roadster featured the wide Turbo body, including its distinctive flared wheel arches and powerful brakes, but remained rear-wheel drive. This not only gave the car a muscular appearance, but also a dynamic character that is highly appreciated among enthusiasts. Thanks to this unique positioning – more exclusive than the standard Cabriolet and technically different from the Turbo – the 964 America Roadster is today regarded as a highly collectible model.

This particular example, built in 1993, has been fully restored and rebuilt with dedication and attention to detail. It is finished in the striking Ferrari Yellow combined with a black leather interior. Within the Paint to Sample programme, only two cars were delivered in this colour combination, making it truly unique. The restoration has been extensively documented in a detailed report, including a photo album that shows the complete process step by step.

With 111,000 kilometres covered and complete documentation – including the original books, manuals, factory delivery document, and the restoration report – this America Roadster offers both certainty and a valuable piece of Porsche history.
