EXTERIOR
Offering intricate details and compelling curves, all wrapped up in a stunning shade of Nero Daytona, the Maserati GranTurismo MC Stradale embodies the irresistible flair of Italian design. Almost indistinguishable from the standard GrandTurismo at first glance just a few minor details give away the track focused nature of the Stradale, with two new intakes on the bonnet for extra cooling and reworked aerodynamics around the front splitter and rear diffuser to create extra downforce at speed.

Having covered just over 25k miles from new the overall condition of the car is superb; showing with excellent depth the solid black finish displays a resplendent shine free from any swirl marks after an intense detailing session, and shows with nothing more than a few minor stone chips to note.

INTERIOR
Weighing in at 110kg less than the standard GranTurismo the MC Stradale offers Maserati’s combination of luxurious materials and exquisite craftsmanship in a far more race inspired package. Consuming the space where the rear seats would have been a rear section roll cage offers superior rigidity and provides an anchor paint for the 4-point racing harnesses which run through the carbon bucket seats, providing a full race car feel and substantial contribution to the Stradale’s intensive weigh-loss regime.

Being Maserati, comfort is considered as much as performance, and so the bucket seats are upholstered in a stunning combination of Nero alcantara and leather, with contrasting red stitching which is visible throughout the interior. Nestled behind the alcantara rimmed steering wheel sit the all important MC shift paddles, transforming the character of the car from comfortable cruiser to rapid sports car with the pull of a lever.

Continuing the uncompromising cabin of the Stradale, Maserati opted to include plenty of tech to ensure the car was useable on the road and so this example comes equipped with a built in navigation system with cd player and bluetooth as well as dual zone climate control, automatic lights and rear parking sensors.

ENGINE & TRANSMISSION
The F136 Modena derived engine develops one of the most glorious noises in production with a character that shifts depending upon requirements. The MC Shift Auto gearbox provides silky smooth changes in fully automatic mode and lightning fast sifts once the manual paddles are engaged, with changes taking just 100 milliseconds. Entering sports mode unleashes the full force of the wet sump V8, sharpening responses and increasing volume to exploit the full theatrical nature of the stunning atmospheric V8.

Featuring the latest in F1 anti-friction technology the naturally aspirated V8 sees an increased output of 454 bhp meaning 0-60 takes just 4.3 seconds and top speed is increased to 188mph, making the MC Stradale Maseratis fastest standard production car at the time.

Servicing has been carried out exclusively by Maserati main dealers meaning mechanically this example sits in excellent order.

WHEELS, TYRES & BRAKES
Complementing the Nero Daytona coachwork are the 20” MC matt graphite alloy wheels which sit in excellent condition, free from any unsightly chips or scuffs. Matching Pirelli P Zero tyres adorn each corner and still show plenty of life left.

Showing through the dark finish spokes are the Red Brembo six-piston callipers and huge carbon ceramic discs, which haul the car down from speed confidently and consistently.

HISTORY FILE
Supplied new by Dick Lovett on 05/08/2011 this Maserati GranTurismo MC Stradale has been with the current owner since 2015, enjoyed sparingly having covered just 25,438 to date.

The original service book outlines a full service history with stamps and accompanying invoices exclusively with Maserati main dealers, the most recent of which was carried out with HR Owen on 08/08/2021 at 25,360 miles, with an invoice totalling almost £8k.

Present with the car is the complete original book pack with stamped service book, V5 and 2 sets of keys.
