The Lancia Flaminia (Tipo 813/823/824/826) is a luxury car produced by the Italian car manufacturer Lancia from 1957 to 1970. It was Lancia's flagship model at the time, replacing the Aurelia. It was available throughout its lifespan as a sedan, coupé and convertible. The Flaminia coupé and convertible were coachbuilt cars with bodies by various prestigious Italian coachbuilders. Four "presidential" stretched limousine Flaminias were produced by Pininfarina for use on state occasions.

12,633 Flaminias were sold in 13 years. Coupes outsold the four-door sedan, an unusual occurrence seen at the time only in American compact and mid-size models, where the coupe versions were standard factory models costing the same or less than the sedan, while the Flaminia coupes were considerably more expensive than the limousine-like Berlina due to their coachwork.

Name:
The Flaminia is named after the Via Flaminia, the road leading from Rome to Ariminum (Rimini). This respected the long-standing Lancia tradition of naming individual models after Roman roads.
Flaminia GT, GTL and Convertible

Lancia Flaminia GT, 1961
Carrozzeria Touring designed and built these two-door aluminum bodies, easily distinguished by their four round headlights (instead of two on Pininfarina Flaminias) and a shorter cabin - the wheelbase was considerably reduced for the GT and Convertibile, allowing for only two seats. The GT was a coupe, while the Convertibile was clearly a convertible version (with optional hardtop). The GTL, introduced in 1962, was a 2+2 version of the GT with a slightly longer wheelbase. The Convertible was produced until 1964, with a total of 847 units (180 with the 2.8), while the GT and GTL remained in production until 1965, with 1718 GTs and 300 GTLs (of which 168 GTs and 297 GTLs with the 2.8).

This Flaminia GTL that we present here is originally a Dutch car and was one of six that came to the Netherlands. For the last 25 years, this GTL has remained with one and the same person who has always maintained the car very well and has always driven it. The only things he has changed are a 123 ignition and a starter relay. The body is in the colour New Market Grigio and is beautiful without any rust and the black leather is still very good. I would like to emphasise again that this car can be used for any rally or holiday trip. There is a lot of documentation with the car and everything is well described by the previous owner who was an absolute Lancia fanatic.

A perfect Lancia Flaminia GTL for the absolute lover of the beautiful cars from the 60s.
