This 1958 Jaguar XK150 Coupe comes in its original Sherwood Green, confirmed by Jaguar Heritage Trust. The paint has had a light refresh but remains correct to factory spec, while the interior is untouched and completely original, showing only gentle wear.
Delivered new to South Africa, the car stayed with its first owner, John Hamilton, for 44 years. A petrol logbook records mileage up to 59,388 before it was carefully stored. The current owner has since rebuilt the engine with new rings, bearings, gaskets, oil and water pumps, and the car has covered 2,000 miles since.
Additional work includes relining the fuel tank, fitting a new steering rack, and overhauling the brakes and new knock-on wheels, stainless steel exhaust and rubbers. All the chrome work was done by African Electroplaters. Today, it runs and drives exactly as a well‑kept classic should — authentic, mechanically sound, and full of history. - it is also rust free.
