Description
The Jaguar MK IV is one of the most iconic models in the history of the British marque and was produced between 1945 and 1949. After the difficult years of World War II, the goal of the Jaguar MK IV was to restore and strengthen Jaguar’s brand image by creating a luxurious automobile. The MK IV was aimed at the affluent market, designed to compete with other luxury brands such as Rolls-Royce and Bentley, and to serve as a foundation for future Jaguar models. The car featured advanced technologies that cemented Jaguar’s position as a leading manufacturer of high-quality vehicles.
Today, a Jaguar MK IV is a rare find. Our example is one of these rarities. Of the original left-hand drive Jaguar MK IV 3.5-liter, only 376 were produced between 1947 and 1948. Fortunately, the Cool Classic Club has a beautiful example in the Clubhuys: an original Belgian model that has been meticulously maintained. Both mechanically and visually, it is in excellent condition, with the 6-cylinder inline engine rebuilt in 2007. The car features a renewed soft top and various options, including wire wheels, spotlights, luxury carpet set, dual fuel pump, and matching numbers.
This is a true lady who deserves a caring new owner. Could that be you? We are happy to help—contact us today!
