Description
It is one of the most exclusive cars in history having been produced in only two copies in its original version with Boano bodywork. This model became very popular in the sixties because it was constantly portrayed on gravure around the world together with its owners of undisputed fame: we are talking about Gianni Agnelli and Aristotle Onassis.; One of the two specimens (the one that belonged to Onassis) was destroyed in an accident. The other specimen, unique in the world, is still in Turin, and that's what we present: a masterpiece for its technical, aesthetic and design value.; A bit of history and details of the Beach: the term "beepy" generically indicates an uncovered car, built on a very small and compact structure, designed for the summer.; It is a car without a door and a pavilion, often replaced by an awning, and has a water-proof interior to be able to use it even after a bath or a shower.; But for the record it must be recognised that the name "spiaggina" derives from the legendary model we are talking about, which can be considered the progenitor of the genre, the Fiat 500 Boano Spiaggina of 1958, made on a Fiat Nuova 500 floor and mechanical and designed by Mario Boano. Nardi's wooden and metal steering wheel is beautiful and the seats finely covered with wicker so that it could resemble a speedboat on wheels.; License plate: TO 259879;
