Ferrari Portofino Grigio Ferro

Uncompromising and versatile at the same time. Sounds impossible? We think otherwise, after the first encounter with this stunning Ferrari Portofino. The carbon trim hints at hardcore racing DNA, while the roof can “simply” fold away and the color scheme is incredibly chic. The dark grey Grigio Ferro paint is steeped in history, and the sound of the twin-turbo Ferrari V8 is delightfully old-school – especially thanks to the sports exhaust. Meanwhile, the super-luxury features, including Magneride, parking cameras, JBL audio, and fully electric seat adjustment, add a layer of sophistication that might seem at odds with the car’s raw performance. But, as we said: this Ferrari Portofino is both uncompromising and versatile.

Exterior

The Portofino’s design defies categorization. Natural curves are paired with sharp lines and advanced aerodynamics. Essentially, it succeeds the stylish California, but aside from the retractable roof and chrome grille bars, almost everything else is different. The Portofino is more progressive, more extreme, and above all: faster.

Bathed in a metallic Grigio Ferro – an official Ferrari Historical “Extra Range” color – this thrilling Italian recipe is served with tasteful toppings. Literally, thanks to the hardtop in Nero DS 1250. The slightly different shade of the metal roof creates a classic Italian two-tone effect that’s almost edible for the eyes. Yet our gaze is inevitably drawn to the carbon front splitter, side skirts, and air ducts beside the rear lights. Not racy enough? Check out the Giallo brake calipers behind the 20-inch Forged Diamond wheels – perfectly matched to the Scuderia Ferrari Shields on the front fenders. One listen to the sports exhaust is enough to understand why that protective film on the front bumper is far from unnecessary…

Interior

Inside, this Ferrari Portofino is just as captivating. The Cuoio leather is so tempting you almost want to bite into it – though given the performance, it’s better saved for the Nero steering wheel. The upper dashboard and headliner are also finished in Nero, while the floor mats are Cuoio. Nero contrast stitching and Cavallino emblems in the headrests perfectly balance the two-tone interior. With the wind deflector up, you have optimal visibility over the rear seat, which can carry longer items once the backrest is folded down. Practical, isn’t it? That’s the beauty of a Ferrari open-top supercar.

Options & Extras

Of course, you’ll want to keep all this beauty close at hand. At the same time, the Portofino excites the senses in ways that the track might not appreciate. The Navtrak anti-theft system deters unwelcome “spectators,” while the fully electric seats, front and rear cameras, heated windshield, and JBL Hi-Fi audio are designed purely for the true enthusiast – someone like you. Other options focus less on comfort and more on the speed and driving experience of the Portofino.

Technology & Performance

This is where the Magneride Dual Mode Suspension and sports exhaust come into play. The Ferrari navigates corners with greater stability and sounds louder than usual – though “usual” is a word this coupe-convertible knows little of. Advanced bi-turbo technology pushes the highly desirable 3.9-liter Ferrari V8 to 600 hp. 0–100 km/h is history in just 3.5 seconds, and in 7th gear, the Portofino can reach a top speed of 320 km/h if desired. HELE (High Emotion Low Emission) technology makes this gem even more future-proof. But really, nothing is more timeless than a driving experience that stays with you for life…

Kind regards,
Team Prins
