In 1986 Ferrari launched a two-litre, turbocharged and intercooled variant of the 328, designated simply GTB Turbo and GTS Turbo—replacing the previous 308-based, non-intercooled, Ferrari 208 GTB/GTS Turbo. This version was developed specifically for the domestic Italian market. The performance was nearly similar to the 3.2 litre naturally aspirated 328 version.

After recent detailing work this is an excellent car for both concours and road use. This Ferrari has not only been standing. After the drive from Italy to Finland 2012 it has been used every summer during the last ten years and driven for instance from Helsinki region to Copenhagen Denmark taking part to the annual meeting of Nordic Ferrari Clubs. But as far as current owner knows, and previous italian owner has told him, this GTS Turbo has spent only three nights outside during its lifetime, otherwise it has always been garaged for nights.

Excellent condition throughout, recent Classic Data inspection (12/2021): Grade 1-, value 120000€.
