FERRARI 456M GT 1999 – 442 HP
The 456M (with “M” standing for Modificata) was unveiled at the Geneva Motor Show in 1998. Numerous changes and updates were introduced to improve aerodynamics, cooling, and interior quality compared with the previous version. It received new seats, redesigned door panels, an updated dashboard, and a Becker radio. New fog lights, revised pop‑up headlights, a new front grille, and a redesigned carbon‑fiber bonnet were also incorporated. The chassis spoiler on the 456M is fixed, whereas the earlier 456 featured an adjustable one. Power output remained unchanged on the Modificata.

The aluminum body was engineered to be aerodynamic, efficient, and undeniably elegant, paired with an ergonomic cockpit offering high levels of comfort and refinement. It was one of the last Ferraris to feature the iconic pop‑up headlights.

Mechanically, Ferrari equipped the model with a 5.5‑liter V12 producing 442 hp, making it one of the most powerful 2+2 sports cars of its generation. It is capable of exceeding 300 km/h. Only 657 units of the 456M with manual gearbox (LHD) were ever produced.
