Description
An exceptional Ferrari 308 GTB Vetroresina, completed in July 1977 and presented today in immaculate, fully restored condition. One of only around 700 fiberglass-bodied examples ever built before Ferrari transitioned to steel, making it one of the rarest and most significant 308s produced.
Originally delivered new by Charles Pozzi in Paris to its first owner — a lady who clearly had impeccable taste — this car was brought to Portugal in 1980, where it was first registered in 1982. Since then, it has remained in the country, passing through two serious private collections, including the current owner who acquired it in 2014.
It has been restored with absolute respect for originality, maintaining its matching-numbers engine, gearbox and chassis — all certified by Ferrari Classiche. Every surface and every detail have been brought back to factory-correct specification, from the deep Rosso Corsa paint to the perfectly preserved nero interior.
The result is a car that not only looks like new, but feels authentic in every sense — light, responsive, and pure.
The Vetroresina models remain one of Ferrari’s best-kept secrets: rarer than a Dino, lighter and faster, yet still undervalued in today’s market. For those who understand Ferrari’s history and spirit, this is one of the most special analog Ferraris of the 1970s — built at the end of the old era, before everything became digital, and restored with the purpose and precision that define Curated Garage.
