Ferrari 12Cilindri Nero Daytona
Ferrari and V12 engines: a love story over three-quarters of a century in the making. So why would the masters in Maranello ever stop? Unfortunately, there are growing pressures: downsized, more efficient engines with lower emissions are becoming the standard. Turbos are ubiquitous, electrification is inevitable, and “hybrid” has officially entered the supercar lexicon. Or has it? With the 12Cilindri, Ferrari makes a bold statement. The name isn’t accidental—it symbolizes the pure beauty of an atmospheric V12 engine. Untamed. Uncompromising. Nothing is as thrilling, immersive, and epic as a Ferrari V12. This is not a farewell; this is a new beginning.
The first owner of this mythically black masterpiece has yet to step forward. Of course, it’s offered exclusively at Prins, complete with a spectacular specification and a jaw-dropping option list, ready for delivery: two-tone exterior, airbrushed shields, Carbon Exterior Pack, Daytona Carbon Racing Seats, panoramic roof, Tricolore interior finishes, Carbon Interior Pack, front lift system, Passenger Display, Surround View Camera, front radar, Active Matrix LED headlights, Burmester audio—and much more. The order sheet has never looked greener.
Exterior
The 12Cilindri is unmistakably modern: straight lines, flawless aerodynamics, minimalist details. Yet the designers pay homage to a legendary piece of Ferrari history: the smooth bodywork and razor-sharp surfaces echo the iconic Ferrari Daytona. Look closely at the front—flat hood, headlights visually linked by a broad black strip. Despite the largely black exterior—part Nero Daytona, part Nero DS—the nod to the classic Daytona is unmistakable. Almost all-black, that is, except for the Giallo brake calipers hiding behind matte black wheels and the airbrushed shields in signature Ferrari yellow on the front fenders. Between the black tailpipes sits a massive carbon diffuser. The front spoiler, air intakes, and side skirts feature the same lightweight, high-end finish. Every detail screams uncompromising performance—and for good reason.
Interior
Inside, the cockpit mirrors the exterior’s dark elegance. Step over carbon door sills and sink into the phenomenal Carbon Racing Seats, trimmed in Nero leather and Alcantara with classic Daytona patches. Close the carbon door panels, grip the carbon steering wheel with LED shift indicator, and place your fingertips on the carbon paddles. The carbon party continues throughout the interior: the rear boot trim and upper center console are also carbon. Rosso Cavallino headrests, Tricolore stripes on the seats and stitching on the steering wheel, plus Tricolore detailing on the shift paddles, add a unique touch to this high-tech, exquisite cabin.
Options & Features
The cockpit brims with modern tech: multiple large displays, including a Passenger Display and Surround View Camera. Other premium extras include a panoramic roof, Active Matrix LED headlights, front radar with Adaptive Cruise Control, heat-insulating windshield, front lift system, powered tailgate, and Burmester audio system.
Performance & Engineering
The heart of the 12Cilindri is an 830 hp, naturally aspirated 6.5-liter V12, producing 678 Nm of torque without turbos or hybrid systems. Acceleration from 0–100 km/h takes just 2.9 seconds, while the 8-speed automatic transmission propels it to a staggering top speed of 340 km/h. Yet you don’t need to reach top speed to appreciate the magic of the 12Cilindri. Anyone familiar with the 812 Competizione will understand exactly why.
