Description
1950 Bentley MkVI 4.25 Stream Lined Sports Saloon by Park Ward, described by Rolls Royce as "The Silent Sports Car" this Crewe built Bentley has the very rare 4-Door stream lined aluminium Park Ward coachwork. Originally delivered to Hubert Stein a textile manufacturer in Manchester, chassis B93GT was ordered with a number of interesting features, electric rear window blind, push button electric windows (1950!) and not one but two cocktail cabinets. B93GT also features a sliding sunroof and its original valve radio which still functions. Extensive re-building and restoration work began in the 1980s and has continued up to date bringing B93GT to the condition you see it in today. B93GT has since attended numerous shows and Bentley Drivers Club events all over the U.K. and is thought to be the only remaining example MkVI built to this design.
