The Aston Martin Works Driving Dynamics package as fitted, consisted of Vantage specification AP Racing 6 pot front brake callipers with larger radially grooved and ventilated discs, enlarged rear brakes and uprated road springs, fitted with revised spcification Koni dampers, revised rate front and rear anti-roll bars and equipped with a set of Vantage V600 pattern, ultra-lightweight Dymag road wheels. Equipped with a sports exhaust the unique specifications, of dynamic handling and improved braking of this V8 Coupe, are both striking and reassuring on the road. This uniquely specified example, of the highly useable and under the radar V8 Coupe, is in a superbly cared for condition throughout.

Powered by the final development of Aston Martin’s renowned and normally aspirated 5.3 litre V8 engine producing 350 bhp, drive is via a 4 speed automatic transmission delivering fuss free and effortless performance. One of the last models from the traditional hand-built era, the V8 Coupe was hand built by the skilled craftsmen and engineers of the former Newport Pagnell factory, with a total of just 101 examples built between 1996 and 1999, in LHD and RHD. Similar in appearance and in sharing the same chassis configuration to it’s supercharged V550 and V600 Vantage brethren, the V8 Coupe benefits from lower running costs, whilst delivering an equal measure of refinement, comfort and road presence, to its more costly V550/600 Supercharged stablemates.

A detailed leather-bound history file accompanies the car, including Mot certificates and invoices for upgrades, maintenance and services carried out.
