Description

The Aston Martin DB9 Volante is the cabriolet version of the DB9. The chassis, although more rigid, uses, like the Coupé, the «VH platform». To protect the occupants in the event of a rollover, the DB9 Volante has reinforced windshield pillars and two 'ejectable' safety arches behind the rear seats. The bows are part of the car's active safety.

To improve the comfort of the DB9 Volante, the suspension was worked and softened.
