This DB6 is a 1965 factory-original Vantage, mark I, manual, RHD, matching numbers. Bought from Aston Martin Works in 2014. It has a FIVA pass with an A3 rating.
The car is fully original with 2 upgrades:
— It was fitted in-period with a “Webasto” sliding open roof for ventilation,
— It had a Aston Martin Works Monte Carlo handling kit fitted (basically better suspension and roll bar).
This kit was developed by AM to enable participation in the Monte Carlo rallye in the 50s, and is still available through AM works.
The car drives very well, engine runs very well, gearbox / suspension / brakes etc are well maintained and fully factory spec.
The car still needs bodywork for concours condition.
