Lando Buzzanca has come a long way since his fleeting (un-credited) appearance as a Jewish slave in William Wyler’s Ben-Hur over a decade ago. Of the 35-odd feature films in which he’s starred since, Buzzanca has demonstrated his breadth of abilities, specialising particularly in satire — take his 1965 character James Tont, a humorous parody of James Bond, for example. And with an enduring 40-year, award-winning career sprawling ahead of him, Bazzunca can afford to indulge in the luxuries of life — in this case, an expensive-looking fur coat and a magnificent Maserati Ghibli.
