ENGINE;
The E888/3 engine is an evolution of the trusted 2 litre turbocharged format that has become synonymous with GTi models over the years. Allied with the venerable DSG 'box, the drivetrain matches the turbo characteristics perfectly and the car performs as one would expect on test with plenty of torque and refinement. Agile and sure footed the Mk7 hits that GTi sweet spot and reminds us of a modern day Mk2 in that respect.

In this instance, the car has always been serviced on time by the supplying dealer and provides a broad operating bracket with excellent performance and economy.

WHEELS;
The diamond cut Parker style 18 inch wheels present in fantastic condition all round wrapped in Michelin Pilot Sport 4S with at least 6mm across all four corners.

Brakes match the performance of the car well and showed only 15% wear on both front and rear pads at the last inspection 2,400 miles ago in November of 2021.

HISTORY FILE;
Supplied new by VW Martins of Farnham to it's sole owner on 08/11/2017, this GTi has only ever been serviced by the supplying dealer on time / mileage. MOT tests have also been carried out accordingly at the supplying dealer.
