This ROW 911 SC is a fantastic original example delivered in a striking and exceptionally period color combination of Mocha Black with a Cork and velour interior.
Delivered new in Frankfurt, the Porsche was originally optioned with a manual antenna left, 2 speaker in the doors, black mat chrome and aluminum parts, painted front headlight rings, a desirable leather 380mm steering wheel with raised hub, tinted windows, heated rear window, a rear fog light, center console and the 16” Fuchs wheels. Low on luxury amenities, saving considerable weight, this Euro 3-liter is perfectly spec’d and really refreshing to drive, particularly compared to the US model cars we’re used to.
Documented provenance confirms two German owners prior to import to the US where a Salt Lake City PCA member retained the car for 34 years where the car was minimally used and well cared for.
Today, the 911 SC remains highly original throughout, retaining nearly all factory finishes with the exception of some exterior paintwork. The Porsche has recently received no-expense-spared servicing with and has new Pirelli tires. The 911 is also a numbers-matching example and presents today as it left the factory in 1979.
Complete with manuals, tools and a large documentation file, the 911 SC is also accompanied with period sales literature and a factory leather key fob.
