Over 11 events, the car claimed three victories, two second-place finishes, and a third-place result - a performance blueprint that would inspire Walter Röhrl’s subsequent Group IV 911 and lay the groundwork for Porsche’s legendary Rothmans-sponsored Group B 911 SC RSs.

Since its acquisition in 2022, this Heigo Porsche has undergone a meticulous, nut-and-bolt restoration by an elite roster of Porsche specialists. Richard Tuthill’s team at Tuthill Porsche rebuilt and set up the chassis, Jeff Gamroth of Rothsport Racing reconstructed the 3.0 SC RS engine, and Dave Imes of Apex Body & Paint restored the bodywork, paint, and famous Heigo livery designed by Porsche luminary Ginger Arnold Ostle. The restoration team collaborated closely with Röscheisen himself at every stage, ensuring period-correct details from Konig seats in lobster-red fabric to blue harnesses, as well as suspension upgrades and carbon-fiber brakes for modern road compliance.
