The Porsche 356 C Coupé offered for sale here was delivered to its first owner in California in February 1965. The current owners purchased the Porsche in Florida in November 2017 from the 2nd owner, who had owned the car for 51 years. Thus the car is verifiably in 3rd hand.

The car has the coveted "matching numbers" with a completely overhauled engine 75 hp engine which recently came to a solid 85 hp on the dyno.

The paintwork in the original colour "signal red" was done in Ft. Myers, Florida by a classic car workshop and corresponds to a German standard. The car was blasted and sanded down to the bare metal before the paint was completely rebuilt.

The interior is still covered with the original black leatherette. The original coconut mats, dashboard and headliner have been renewed to the highest standard. The innerspring frames can be renewed - the new ones are supplied with the purchase.

This is a technically and visually very original and well maintained vehicle with no maintenance backlog whatsoever. In addition, the history is very attractive and very well documented - there are a large number of invoices and documents from the previous owners. Really an exciting coupé which offers a lot of driving pleasure.

Der Porsche 356 C - Das Finale der 356er Baureihe. Produziert von 1963 bis 1965. Äußerlich sehr an der letzten B-Ausführung angelehnt, erhielten die C-Modelle neue Felgen und Radkappen sowie Scheibenbremsen an allen vier Rädern.

Als Karosserieausführung gab es den C als Coupé, Karmann Coupé und Cabriolet. Der 60 PS „Dame“ Motor entfiel. Lieferbar waren der 1600 C mit 75 PS und der SC mit 95 PS. Spitzenmodell war der Carrera 2 mit 130 PS.

Ab 1964 lief die Produktion schon parallel mit dem Nachfolger 911. 1966 wurden noch 10 SC Cabriolets für die niederländische Polizei gebaut.
