This Mercedes-Benz SLR McLaren Roadster was delivered new through the French Mercedes-Benz dealer Como Stains in September 2007 and was subsequently seen on the streets of London during its early years.

In 2010, it passed to another member of the same family and continued its life between Paris and the Côte d’Azur. In 2017, the car was acquired by a French collector, who has carefully preserved its history. Its provenance is extensively documented, with period photographs, supporting invoices, and a collection of contemporary paparazzi images.

One of only 533 Roadster examples produced, this SLR is finished in Crystal Galaxite Black over Silver Arrow black leather with red stitching and retains its original soft top. It is equipped with a refined selection of optional features, including a carbon-fibre centre console, 19-inch light-alloy wheels with an asymmetrical turbine design, embossed SLR logos below the headrests, red stitching, and red-painted brake calipers.

The car has been maintained with care throughout its life, with all servicing recorded in the logbook and most recently serviced at an official Mercedes-Benz dealership.

Developed in collaboration between Mercedes-Benz and McLaren Automotive, the SLR was engineered under the direction of Gordon Murray. Conceived as a high-performance grand tourer, it combined advanced engineering with everyday usability. The supercharged 5.4-litre V8 was positioned deep within the chassis to create a front mid-engined layout, contributing to its balanced dynamics.

Performance is exceptional, with 0 to 100 km/h achieved in 3.6 seconds and a top speed of approximately 335 km/h, delivered with a level of refinement uncommon in this segment.

The SLR also introduced advanced technologies, including a full carbon fibre reinforced plastic (CFRP) monocoque, ceramic composite brakes as standard, and an active rear airbrake, features derived directly from Formula One.

With its limited production and documented provenance, this SLR McLaren Roadster represents a rare opportunity to acquire one of the most significant modern grand touring hypercars.
