This Mercedes /8 was ordered new by a member of the German parliament in 1976 and used as his second car in Rhineland-Palatinate until 1986.

From 1986 to 2008 it was stored in a dry and heated vehicle hall.

In 2008/09, the 230.4 was rediscovered by a master car mechanic who carefully brought it back to a roadworthy condition.

For the last 15 years, the car was part of a magnificent collection of original Mercedes vehicles. It was continuously registered there, was regularly driven and was inspected by the MOT every 2 years.
