In 1974 the car was purchased from Alex Dearborn in completely original condition. In 1986 the car received new lacquer paint in the original color of graphite grey and a new top. The red leather interior, mechanics, and chrome are all original. The interior in particular is beautifully preserved with just the right amount of patina. The car is currently running and driving excellent. Inevitably, production was limited with only 760 examples of the 300S/Sc leaving the factory between 1951 and 1958.
