Introduced in 1996, the Ferrari Maranello marked the end of an era of more than twenty years of twelve-cylinder mid-engine models. Models that started with the Berlinetta Boxer and went through the three variants of the Testarossa. Designed to recall the glory days of Ferrari's legendary front-engined sports cars (the 275GTB and 365 GTB / 4 Daytona), the Maranello was both contemporary and classic. The Pininfarina style evoked all the distinction, proportions and muscular look of the great vintage Ferraris without succumbing to retro design expressions.

Mechanically, this model was at the forefront, with a naturally aspirated 485hp quad-chamber V12 engine and a 6-speed manual gearbox, which endowed the 550 Maranello with a top speed of 320 km/h.

This unit was sold new in Portugal and is in excellent condition.
