The BMW 1 Series M Coupé (1M Coupé) is a high-performance version of the BMW 1 Series Coupé, developed by BMW Motorsport. According to current BMW naming convention, this model would have been called the “M1”, however the brand decided to use the “Series 1M” designation to avoid confusion with the original 1978 BMW M1.

The 340hp 3-liter N54B30TO engine of the 1M Coupé was the second turbocharged engine from «BMW Motorsport» (after the S63 V8 that debuted in the X6M). Initial plans were to limit production of the 1M Coupé to 2700 units, however the final production total was 6309, which immediately gave it collectible status.

The 1M Coupé was only available with a six-speed manual gearbox and was originally equipped with a self-locking differential.

This 1M Coupé was sold new in Portugal, is in excellent condition and has less than 63,000 kilometers.
