Beschreibung
One of just 84 Aston Martin DB Mark III Dropheads built, this car has an immaculate provenance and a service record, during the Milton family ownership from 1966 – 2005, that is meticulously recorded in hand written journals.
Byron International were privileged to broker the sale of the car from the Milton Family to a Nicholas Papalios in Athens in 2005 and registered 101659. The Greek collector sold the car at auction in 2008 to a German collector Johann Bongartz of Aacchen who only owned the car briefly before it was purchased by the current owner through the services of the well-known classic car dealers Movendi.
We were delighted to be contacted by the current German owner soon after he acquired the car – in his 14 years of ownership the car has been maintained to the very highest of standards and we are proud to offer this outstanding car to market once more.
That maintenance has included a full repaint, engine rebuild, enhancements like electronic power steering and 2 speed wipers and the car is presented in even better condition than when we first represented the car in 2005 and the under-bonnet tool box is still complete!
This is a car presented in outstanding condition but she is not just for looking at – she performs as well as she looks and whether gracing a collection or campaigning Classic Rallies, she will be a worthwhile investment.
