Beschreibung

Dear Madam / sir,
This 1982 Alfa Romeo GTV6 with chassis number B600005299B is one of onnly five official Jolly Club team cars.
Built by Jolly Club in collaboration with partner Autodelta.
Autodelta supplied the reinforced chassis (copy of invoice present)
There are original letters from Jolly Club team who was the owner of the car for a period of 15 years.
The GTV6’s became 3 years in a row European Touring Car Champion (ETCC) in its class just like the GTA did twenty years earlier.
These cars are well known for there superb handling as they have about 50/50 weight ratio front and rear.
And the 6 cylinder roar sound is unique especially with the straight side exhaust.
There are a series of events to participate like; Goodwood members meting ‘celebrating group A’ and Tourenwagen classics, tourenwagen legenden, DRM, heritage touring cup by peter auto and many other events.
But also in certain rallies like ‘monte carlo historique’.
The car raced a lot in Group A in Italy between 1983-1985 also in ETCC races.
we count about 23 official races in period.
We have raced the car recently at Nurburgring and Zandvoort track.
Only 5 of these special ‘squadra Totip’ Jolly Club team cars where built.
This is a original Jolly Club team GTV6 Autodelta from 1982 and was driven by Roberto de Gaetano, Giorgio Shon who was a 24Hr Daytona and 24hr Les Mans driver and Duilio Truffo who was a expert in long distance racing also in Group C cars including two times 1000km of Nurburgring and five times 1000km MONZA and two times 24hr Les Mans driver.
This is substantiated by correspondence, and documents that are present with the car from early years.
It has all the unique and original Autodelta parts wich makes it unique and different from others.

The car is fully equipped with AUTODELTA parts such as:

• Reinforced chassis with air jack facility.
• Special ‘long range’ Prelli Autodelta fuel tank
• Alloy wishbones
• Different anti roll-bar in front and rear.
• Special suspension with ‘knuckle risers’
• Amazing big F1 BRABHAM-ALFA ROMEO disc brakes in the rear and two-double disc brakes on each side in the front.
• Close ratio gearbox with oil cooler
• Central-lock wheels suspension
• Limited slip rear differential with special ratio.
• 4 sets magnesium wheels (ultra rare)
• Reinforced torsion bars and lightweight alloy torsion bar adjuster cross member
• Lightweight auto delta made dashboard.
• Tuned engine special camshaft and modified crankshaft and more.
• original Autodelta side exhaust.

This car was officially property of JOLLY CLUB srl race team for 15 years from 1982 to 1997.
In 1997 it was purchased by well-renowned Alfa Romeo author Mr. Maurizio Tabucchi whom was a authority in the Alfa Romeo scene.
He stored the car in his collection and did not drive it until we purchased it in 2015.
We have a series of old race pictures of the car in racing from period with many race results sheets.
Among ETCC (European touring car championship) races it also raced in the 1984 Monza 500km among other drivers such as;
Hans-joachim Stuck, Dieter Quester, Roberto Ravaglia, Gerhard Berger, Patrick NeveFranco Brancatelli, Tom Walkinshaw, Win Percy, Martin Brundle, Steve Soper, Armin Hahne, Jeff Allam, Manfred Trint and many others in just one race.
In the file of the car i can see it raced about 23 times among tracks as; MONZA, Magione (Tuscany), Mugello, Valle Camonica hill climb, Vallelunga (40 minutes above Rome), VARANO and Donnington UK.
it is good driving, unrestored.
I raced it recently twice at Nürburgring Oldtimer Grand prix and also a 2 hour race at Zandvoort and it runs well and it is reliable.
It is ready to race.
