The market of modified 911s certainly has something for everyone’s taste, with the likes of Singer or Mletzko leading the way when i comes to the highest standards one could have. But fortunately, a properly tweaked 964 doesn’t have to cost Singer money.

The example we are presenting was built by German Porsche specialist AP Car Design, back in 2010. An accident free 115.000km 1992 Grand Prix White Carrera 2 was supplied from Japan for 25.500€ (!!), dismantled, dry-ice blasted and completely rebuilt with roll cage, big Lightweight Package, RS gearbox, RS doors, Turbo 3.6 brakes, 300hp engine upgrade with in-house exhaust upgrade, adjustable KW Clubsport, carbon anti roll-bar and intake, full black Alcantara interior with contrasting Viper Green stitching, and many other tweaks. Fitted with 997 GT3 RS seats and a different set of wheels, it has since then been tastefully modified with Recaro Pole position seats beautifully wrapped with Nappa leather in the famous typical Porsche tricolor pattern. The wheels were also changed to the current setup and given the Michelin treatment, making it a true modern hommage to the RS, while not pretending being one, proudly showing the « Carrera » designation inside the car and out.

Back in 2010, Singer had just been founded, and the modified 964 market wasn’t what it is today. An original 964 RS was worth a fraction of today’s value, with this build being just shy of 90k€ back then, far exceeding an original 964 RS’s value back in 2010. A comparable car could not be built today for under 150k€, base included.

This car certainly comes close to one of the best packages you can get for a truly angry, yet useable and extremely reliable car that will exceed expectations whether its used on road trips, sunday drives or track days. For 2/3 of the price of a good genuine RS, it’s hard to build something better.

The car stands on well preserved Michelin PS4s but can of course be delivered on any other tire like a Cup 2, if so wished. A fresh service is included before handover. It has covered a mere 18.000km since having been built and is very close to new condition, coming with all service books and a huge invoice file detailing the build and process.
