HISTORY
Dallara Automobili is one of the most historic and important brands for the manufacture of chassis for racing cars.
Although Dallara's success has established itself in recent years with the 'Stradale', the first road car produced by the brand, a large part of the race victories of various world teams are due to the manufacture and excellence of the chassis produced by Dallara.

The one up for auction is a very special Dallara F392, unique for its history.
Going back to 1992, a young but talented Giancarlo Fisichella took part in the F3 championship aboard the Ravarotto team's Ralt RT36.
However, a brake failure sent the Ralt off the track rendering it unusable.
Because of this, the Ravarotto team used a Dallara F392 for last race of the championship, the same one up for auction.

The young Fisichella won his first (of a long series) race.

Alfa Romeo Twin Spark Novamotor engine, 4 cylinders - 2000 displacement and 5-speed 'dogleg' Hewland gearbox (ie first gear at the bottom).
