Description
What Ferrari did with the 360 Challenge Stradale and its successor 430 Scuderia, we did the exact same with the 575 GTC: creating a street-legal version based on a hardcore circuit racer. That’s right: Classic Youngtimers Consultancy transformed a Ferrari 575M Maranello into a 575 GTC Evoluzione. Its name: Ferrari 575 GTC Stradale – how convenient. The first and only one with license plates!
Background
Ferrari is the absolute king in creating iconic speed demons for both on and off the track. The GT Competizione proves that the legendary brand has no limits when it comes to special customer requests: the GTC is a racer developed by Ferrari Corse Clienti in collaboration with N.Technology back in 2003. The car is exclusively intended for private teams to participate in the official FIA GT Championship. With the addition “C” in GTC, Ferrari is reincarnating the Competizione name, referring to the iconic 365 GTB/4 Daytona, 365 GT4 BB and F40. Each of these models were given the “Competizione” badge after they were specifically prepared for track use. The same goes for the Ferrari 575.
History
The history of this particular GTC differs slightly from the ones that Ferrari has built. Because the truth is, the 575 GTC Evoluzione on your screen left the Italian factory at first as a 575M Maranello. The Maranello became a donor for our GTC “Stradale” project. In other words: we gave the Ferrari the same looks and performance as the original Evoluzione.
As a result, this could be the purest Ferrari racer ever to receive license plates!
Design & technique
On the outside, the Rosso Corsa 575 evolved extremely powerful thanks to the characteristic GTC Evoluzione wide body kit in particular. But also the polycarbonate windows, open side exhaust system, custom headlights, carbon fiber rear wing / front splitters, OZ Superturismo magnesium wheels, modified wheel hubs with centerlock and Michelin racing tires are 100% driven by speed. On the inside the transformation is at least as big: the full carbon interior is custom-made and has Sparco racing seats with 4-point harness belts plus a roll bar. This all reveals that the upgrades are by no means only intended to look at…
Adjustments underneath like a racing fuel filler and fully adjustable Intrax racing suspension help the V12-powered Ferrari racer deliver a smashing performance unlike any other road-approved 575. Does the Rosso Corsa blood run faster through your veins than ever? Just wait until you hear this GTC “Stradale” waking up. One moment of acceleration is enough to sharpen all senses and immediately sign for it. And by that we mean literally…
