It appears that Ringo, the horse ridden by McQueen’s bounty-hunting character Josh Randall in Wanted: Dead or Alive, has a longer attention span than the Hollywood legend. That said, we’re not sure we could concentrate through an arduous day of memorising scripts and waiting for scenes with the knowledge that there was a Jaguar XKSS parked close by, either. McQueen has a particular penchant for the big cat he calls the ‘Green Rat’ — as those living on Sunset Boulevard and Mulholland Drive know only too well. The word on the street is that the local sheriff has offered a steak dinner at Lawry’s to the officer who can finally catch the ever-evading McQueen.
