Description
Our Porsche 356 C—an automotive jewel in its purest form—was originally delivered new in 1964 in Tacoma, in the United States.
Its configuration is simply stunning: the first owner chose a beautiful green exterior paired with a beige perforated leather interior, a timeless and elegant combination.
This 356 remained in the hands of the same American owner for nearly 30 years, from 1978 to 2008. During this period, it was meticulously maintained by German specialists based in the United States. We retain a comprehensive file of invoices documenting all servicing carried out under his ownership.
The car was later imported into France in 2013. Its restoration journey began in December 2017, with significant bodywork and paint carried out, alongside a full interior refurbishment—from carpeting to headliner.
In September 2018, the car entered the second phase of its restoration at Prestige & Passion, renowned specialists in classic car restoration. There, it underwent extensive work including welding, repainting, reassembly, and a complete rebuild of both body and interior components.
Mechanically, no detail was overlooked: the engine and gearbox were fully rebuilt at the Porsche Centre in Lorient in December 2022. Supporting invoices confirm this comprehensive restoration, which was fully completed in 2022.
Thanks to its exceptionally clear history, we have been able to trace the life of this 356, which has had a total of four owners since new. Since the completion of its restoration, it has covered only 2,700 kilometers. The car has also received a full ceramic coating across the entire bodywork.
Today, this Porsche 356 is presented in absolutely outstanding condition, both cosmetically and mechanically. It stands as one of the finest examples currently available on the market, ready to delight its next owner with the unmistakable sound of its iconic flat-four engine.
