The TVR Tuscan V6 was created to consolidate TVR's presence in the lightweight, high-performance sports car market, following its experience with the Griffith and Vixen in the 1960s.
The Tuscan V6, produced from 1969 to 1971, was designed to offer a more "reliable" and less thirsty version than the V8, which was exported primarily to the US, primarily for the European market, as the Ford Essex V6 did not meet American emission regulations of the time. The fiberglass body was derived from the Vixen S2, and was replaced by the TVR 3000M. Most of the 101 examples built were sold in the UK and Europe; today, it is estimated that only 20 remain in existence.
Vehicle History
The TVR Tuscan V6, registration GJ138J, was first registered in the United Kingdom on November 16, 1970, with red bodywork and black interior. The UK registration records seven owners before the last British owner purchased it in 1978. It has since been exported to Germany, where it was fully restored and participated in numerous events in Europe, including the Le Mans Classic, and then to Italy in 2019, where it participated in numerous historic races such as the Bordino Trophy, Valli e Nebbie, and Vernasca Silver Flag (watch video).

Up until July 1978, the English Log Book recorded seven owners.
8. On January 23, 1984, it was purchased by David Dickson, 32, Newlyn Road, Meols, Wirral L477AS, who repainted it ivory.
9. On 20/03/1986, it was purchased by Alan Mark Levy, 15 Avon Road, Summit, Heywood L104RW.
10. On 11/12/1994, it was exported to Germany by Bernd Wolf Dietter Woelffel, who registered it with the license plate MGU27.
11. On 29/05/1998, it was purchased by Horst Wolfgang Dieter Zlomke, who completely restored it, changing the body color to metallic silver, a color specified in the TVR catalog, with the historic license plate EVR68H changed.
12. The car was carefully preserved until 2014, when it was sold to Wolfgang Okreu, a well-known TVR collector, who registered it as BMT1633H (the license plate number coincides with the chassis number).
13. In 2019, it was purchased by the current owner with 33,453 km since the restoration and re-registered in Italy as a vehicle of historical interest.
The vehicle comes with the IT CRS and FIVA certificate, with an inspection valid until July 2026. It has a dozen volumes containing documentation of its history, restoration, technical specifications, and all maintenance manuals.
