The 1961 Rolls-Royce Silver Cloud II Drophead Coupé (DHC) embodies the pinnacle of convertible luxury in the 1960s, marking a major technical transition with the introduction of the 6.2-liter V8 engine. This new aluminum engine block offered unprecedented power and quiet operation, radically transforming performance compared to the previous version. This example is an original factory convertible.

The current owner purchased this car about fifteen years ago from a British workshop specializing in this model, which restored it.

This restored Silver Cloud is in excellent condition.

The bodywork is in very good condition and free of corrosion. Alignment and fit are good. The blue paint is smooth and has a beautiful depth. The wheels are well-preserved. The headlight lenses show no particular defects. The chrome trim has a beautiful shine. The black convertible top is power-operated and functions normally.

Inside the cabin, the beige leather seats are brand new. The dashboard shows no flaws. The wood trim are in perfect condition. The black Bakelite steering wheel is very well preserved. The instrument panel is fully functional.

The 6.2-liter V8 starts smoothly and revs well. The automatic transmission shifts smoothly and pleasantly. The handling is very good.
