Description
The Ferrari 456 GT was unveiled at the Paris Motor Show in October 1992. It was launched in January 1993 with a manual gearbox, while the GTA with automatic transmission appeared in 1996. The engine and the gearbox on the rear axle are connected via a drive shaft mounted on three bearings in a steel tube. The six-speed gearbox is combined with the ZF limited-slip differential in a transaxle design. The revised 456M was unveiled in autumn 1998. Our 456M GT with a 442 hp 5.5-litre V12 and manual 6-speed transmission was delivered to Switzerland and handed over to its first owner on 13 January 2003 by the Ferrari dealership Pierre Sudan in Zug. After changing hands in 2007 and 2014, the sporty 2+2 was taken over by its last owner in June 2018 with around 48’000 km on the clock. As the available documentation shows, the previous owner was not concerned about the cost of regular maintenance. For example, a major service including a timing belt replacement was carried out in 2019 (48’634 km), the sticky plastic parts in the interior were either replaced or restored in 2020, the rear shock absorbers were replaced and a new compressor for the air conditioning system was installed in 2021, and the clutch was replaced in 2023. Fourth-hand, with 56’850 kilometers on the clock and a complete service history, the Ferrari is in very good condition and will be sold with its last MOT performed in September 2022.
