A break from the normal monster size V8's of the 60's. The Chevrolet Corvair brought a more European style and feel to the American market. The Turbo was a high-performance variant of the Chevrolet Corvair, featuring a turbocharged version of the car's unique air-cooled, flat-six engine. Introduced in the early 1960s, it was one of the first turbocharged engines to appear in a mass-produced American car, debuting shortly after the Oldsmobile F-85 Jetfire. The Corvair Turbo, particularly the Corsa trim, offered a significant power boost, with the 1965-1966 model producing 180 horsepower. This particular example was restored in Florida and imported here around 15 years ago. It has been part of a small private collection for around 10 years. Finished in Madeira Maroon Poly with Black interior. Ready for summer cruisin!
