Three posters from the 1968 Le Mans endurance race. Historically always held in June of each year, the race was postponed due to the civil unrest, student uprising, and general strikes that brought the economy of France to a halt in May 1968. The event was rescheduled for September of the same year, but two poster designs were created, before a final was decided upon. Artist: Andres Delourmel. Printer: Oberthur France.
