Nice aesthetic and mechanical condition

Produced between 1972 and 1984 at more than 5 million copies, its success was as dazzling at its launch as it was in the long term. The first series (from 1972 to 1979) are more sought after. In 1980, black rocker panels were added on each side and changed, among other details, the appearance of the car which was then completely modified in 1984 for the 85th edition. It will then be named Super 5, but it is not a R5 anymore. A multitude of models and engines will be offered over the years. From the 745cc and its 34hp at the beginning, to the ultimate R5 Turbo 2 with its 1430cc and its 160hp, the ultimate grail. Particularly well equipped, a Campus version will see the light of day in the early 1980s based on the R5 L. With a sunroof, specific rims, sand-colored fabric upholstery and a superb Bordeaux livery (color code 721), it seduced the top of the range of Renault customers by promising the equipment and comfort of a ""big"" car in a small volume.
A true collector's item, this R5 Campus edition was first registered in December 1982. Today, the little city car is presented in a beautiful condition and with its original aesthetic configuration. We can only be impressed by the conservation of the interior which makes us dive directly into the 1980s. With only 3200 kilometers on the odometer, the latter has actually been changed because of a usual malfunction on these models. The traceability of the technical controls since 1992 shows us that the Campus has just under 30,000 km since it left the assembly line. With its specific livery and beautiful appearance, this Campus is an elegant way to distinguish itself from other popular small city cars."
