EXTERIOR;
Specified from new with black Clubsport decals, black Cup 2 alloys and an aluminium exhaust this Porsche 968 is instantly recognisable as something different from a standard car. A rarity on the road just 1,923 Clubsports were produced worldwide, with only 179 cars produced for the C16 UK RHD market.

Resplendent in a signature coat of Guards Red this example presents superbly, with the rich finish perfectly highlighting the Porsches sweeping lines. Up front the trademark pop-up round headlights give a real sense of 90's nostalgia, whilst to the rear the large curved glass section perfectly offsets the cars vibrant finish. Overall condition of the exterior is excellent; with a deep consistent shine the bodywork shows with no discernible blemishes or marks, with just a couple of minor stone chips to note upon closer inspection.

INTERIOR;
Available with a number of options the 968 Clubsport could be had in full lightweight or comfort specification depending on preference. Appointed more toward the comfort end of the scale this Clubsport features a number options, including comfort front and rear seats, air conditioning, sunroof and radio, which has been upgraded to an aftermarket unit to provide some entertainment whilst on the go.

Overall condition of the interior is impeccable; the black fabric seats show free from any signs of wear as does the dashboard and door trim which shows free from any cracks or marks.

ENGINE;
Producing 240bhp the 3.0L inline-4 from the standard 968 was deemed to be powerful enough to remain unchanged in the Clubsport, with its already lightweight internals and VarioCam (variable valve timing) system producing an excellent combination of performance and reliability. Thanks to the Clubsports impressive weight reduction of around 100kg (depending of spec) its 0-60mph time was slashed by half a second, dropping to around 6.2 seconds, whilst top speed increased to 162 mph.

This engine is also paired to a 6-speed manual gearbox, providing an engrossing and entertaining analogue driving experience.

WHEELS;
Contrasting the Guards Red bodywork sit a set of black 17 inch Cup 2 alloy wheels, which are in excellent condition with no marks or scuffs to be found. Continental ContiSport tyres sit at each corner with ample and even tread remaining.

The brakes perform as they should with no whining or squealing and have plenty of life left in them.

HISTORY FILE;
Delivered on 29/03/1994 this UK RHD example, this highly specified Porsche 968 Clubsport comes with a host of desirable factory options, including a sunroof and very rare rear seats. Over its lifespan the car has had thousands spend on it (£21,691) in invoices alone and just shows how cherished it was by all its owners.

In recent years the car has been kept largely in storage between 2017-2022, the most recent service was done at 111,399 and then following this at 111,625 miles the car had a host of work done including a new: Timing Belt, Aux Balance Shaft Belt and Brake Lines. The mass of invoices and a number of inspections/registration forms that help to track the mileage and whereabouts of the car, which seems consummate with its excellent current condition.

Present with the car is the history file containing many invoices, MOTs, Porsche Certificate of Authenticity, 2 keys and a V5.
