This 911 is a rare and sought after 'Commemorative Edition', one of just 875 built to celebrate the completion of the 250,000th 911. Of the 875 examples produced, 300 were imported to the US (120 coupes, 100 cabrio’s and 80 Targa’s), 250 were sold in Germany, 50 went to the UK, and the remainder to other countries. Also known as the Jubilee Edition, and features a number of nice cosmetic enhancements that set it apart from its 911 brethren.

This included special colors: Diamond Blue Metallic for the exterior, with color-matched Fuchs wheels, and Silver Blue Metallic in the interior. The seats were embellished with an extra special touch - Dr. Ferdinand Porsche’s signature embroidered in the headrest area. They also had a comprehensive equipment level as standard including painted wheel centres, electric sunroof, electric seats, short-shift gear lever, sports suspension and the luxury carpet option. Being produced in 1988 meant the car also has the desirable G50 5-speed gearbox.
