Maserati Quattroporte 4.7 Sport GTS

Don’t get us wrong: we have a huge soft spot for the new Maserati Quattroporte. It’s a highly successful evolution of its predecessor and a fantastic limousine, overflowing with Italian charisma. Yet for this 2011 version, we’re happy to let the current model take a backseat.

This isn’t just any Quattroporte. No – this is a Sport GT S, in our opinion the finest Quattroporte Maserati ever built! With only 53,000 km on the clock and an exceptionally tasteful specification, this is one of the most desirable Tridents we’ve ever had in our collection.

Exterior

It’s been said before: since Maserati reintroduced the Quattroporte in 2004, the brand has shaken up the luxury segment – literally and figuratively. With the roaring Ferrari V8 under the hood, the presence of this elegantly sculpted sedan resonates long after it passes by, especially near a tunnel. And the Sport GT S version comes with a sports exhaust, delivering an extra dose of spine-tingling emozione.

The Quattroporte’s beautiful lines will appeal to any enthusiast with a sense of style. Its elegant curves and exquisite detailing are timeless, perfectly blending power with emotion. The Sport GT S stands out even more thanks to sporty touches: a lowered suspension, a sharper nose with concave grille slats, twin oval exhausts (instead of four round ones), and 20-inch wheels with larger brakes behind them. Truly, you won’t find more soul in a car of this segment!

Color & Composition

Speaking of wheels: these Trident Dark Chrome examples bring out the very best in the Quattroporte’s timeless design. Sporty yet graceful – simply irresistible! Especially when paired with the Bianco Eldorado exterior paint. The contrast with the wheels is stunning, the paint a flawless white – not stark, but just right.

Inside, the Maserati is everything you’d expect from a car of this caliber… and then some. The Cuoio leather interior, complemented by a beige Alcantara steering wheel and matching seat inserts, is visually breathtaking and harmonizes beautifully with the exterior. Not identical in shade, but both light-toned and clearly assembled with meticulous care. In this Italian masterpiece, you don’t just sit down – you get pulled in.

As perfectly as the Quattroporte cockpit embraces your body, the technology performs flawlessly. The 440 hp, rear-wheel-drive limousine delivers power effortlessly and loves to make itself heard – yet the 8-cylinder’s sound never becomes tiresome.

The sporty DNA isn’t just in the engine note. Performance and driving experience place this sedan in a league of its own. Essentially, the Sport GT S is a true sports car, designed for four occupants.

That doesn’t mean Maserati sacrifices comfort and luxury. On the contrary. Beyond abundant leather, this example features ultra-comfortable seats, a Bose audio system for even more listening pleasure, and tasteful carbon trim inside. Compromises have never been so enjoyable!
