Description
William I'Anson Ltd offer for sale the 1965 Lotus Cortina Mk1 FIA. Priced competitively at £70,000 GBP.
A Mk1 Lotus Cortina, restored to FIA specifications by Cortina ace Andy Wolfe as his personal car, co-driven by Rob Hall, and raced with much success with many wins, through to selling to the current owners in 2011.
Successful in the current ownership, with multiple podiums and pole position. Presented with only the 76th Goodwood Members’ Meeting on the engine since rebuild by Ian Claridge of Anglian Engine Services.
Accompanied by another set of Minilite style wheels with Dunlop tyres, silenced exhaust pipe, and box of running spares containing various brake pads, shoes, electrical parts and other parts. Also with 2015 FIA HTPs, and in date safety equipment.
With a variety of grids across Europe in which it can compete, including U2TC, Masters, HSCC and the Goodwood Revival, the Lotus Cortina is a great choice to get behind the wheel in tin-top racing.
