Hand built in England to order for a German client, BLACKDEN EDITION 001 involved panel off paintwork in the chosen Balmoral Green, removal of the engine and gearbox, all new brakes, suspension, a beautifully hand trimmed interior and re veneered burr walnut amongst many other upgrades and improvements.

We took the refinement, performance and practicality of a 1991 Automatic 3.9 EFI V8 VOGUE SE and sympathetically re-imagined it aesthetically, with the styling cues of earlier examples.

At BLACKDEN EDITION, we build and sell bespoke and re-imagined Classic and L322 generation Range Rovers, all of which are limited edition, individually numbered vehicles.

​Mechanically rebuilt or re-engineered as desired, we can take the 3.9 V8 from stock output of 185 BHP to 250 BHP plus, and simultaneously improve reliability and durability in hotter climates, with upgraded water pumps, radiators and thermostats amongst many other upgrades.

​​The same principles apply to the much loved L322 generation of Range Rover - identifying and rectifying known areas ripe for improvement whilst also increasing power output, throttle response and reliability and crafting beautiful interiors.

​​Cosmetically, clients can choose from an extensive, if not limitless array of options for paint work, leather, wood veneers and audio upgrades.

​With brand new hand stitched and hand cut interiors, custom wood work and veneers, upgraded infotainment systems, sound deadening and re-engineered power and drive trains, these are made ready for today, but with the charm and character of a bygone era.
