Description
1 of only 7 Land Rover Defender 'SVX Concept' models or more commonly known as 'Spectre Defenders', made uniquely for the 24th James Bond film, Spectre.
Producers of Sony Pictures appointed Jaguar Land Rover's Special Vehicle Operations to supply them with a total of 10 Defenders and transform them from the regular Crew-Cab 110s into an off-road Hollywood Villain! Tuned by non-other than Land Rovers famed racing specialists Bowler it comes as no surprise that this example we have available really is the Monster Defender. With huge 37"Maxis Trepador tyres bolted directly on Beadlock alloy wheels, you might say that this was the most obvious part of the Defenders transformation. However, to support such a mammoth special model Bowler upgraded the suspension to include rose joints and Bilstein rally dampers built to race specification, integrated a full roll cage that runs both externally and internally and then hidden away you will find significant engine improvements with an increased power from around 120bhp to 185bhp. The interior has the notorious traditional Defender feel but with the added class of Recaro Sports Seats and 4-point harnesses that simply adds to its dominance.
The Spectre Defender we have here has been U.K. road registered since its role in the movie, where it was used only in drive-by scenes. It is fresh from a service and comes complete with its car cover, original invoice and a range of papers documenting filming schedules along with photos of this cars actual appearance in the film and history file.
Not all of the Spectre Defenders survive today and the ones that do are not all road registered. Once again we present you a very rare opportunity to own what is classed as 'the ultimate Defender!'
