Description
The new Jaguar XJ series was launched at the beginning of 2010 as a completely new car. While the exterior design of the previous series had changed little, this was not the case with the X351. The XJ had undergone fundamental changes and appeared more powerful than its predecessors, partly due to the new radiator grille featuring the company logo. The vehicle was designed by Ian Callum. The body of the XJ is made of aluminium and magnesium. Production of the saloon car was discontinued without replacement on 5 July 2019. The saloon with a long wheelbase on offer is a Swiss delivery and was handed over to its first Lady-owner by Emil Frey AG in Münchenstein on 31 January 2011. In the ‘Portfolio’ version with a 385 hp 5-litre V8 engine, the new price was well over CHF 150’000. In return, she received an impressive saloon with a 6-speed automatic gearbox, fine leather upholstery with heated front and rear seats, 4-zone air conditioning, picnic tables for the rear passengers, a glass sunroof, an infotainment system with navigation and many other luxury features. The lady loved her XJ and covered a good 100’000 km in it over the following years. In 2023, the Jaguar was taken over by the consignor and integrated into his collection. Since then, only around 1,000 km have been covered with the elegant British car. With just under 102’500 kilometers on the clock and a complete service booklet, the luxury saloon is in good original condition with signs of wear. The last service was carried out in September 2024 at 101’800 kilometers and the last Swiss MOT was performed in September 2023.
